A sparkling town
Although it can be difficult to break away from the great skiing, the town of St. Anton is something for itself. Despite the expansion over the years, the town still remains an extremely attractive, extravagant and authentic Tirolean mountain village at heart. The pedestrianized Dorfstrasse cuts through the centre, with restaurants, boutiques and bars along it, several of which are still housed in centuries-old timber and stone farmhouses. The villages onion-domes church dating back to the 17th century, still takes pride of the Dorfstrasse, which is embraced by the breathing taking mountains rising steeply above St. Anton og both sides of the narrow valley.

Skiing for children
Even though the ski resort is famous among the experienced, then the youngest and newest skiers are still taken into account. St. Anton offers great programs for children and their parents.
The children ski instructors are experts with lots of patience, imagination and understanding, which without doubt will give the youngest a safe and memorable time. For the little ones from the age of 2,5 years old there is a Kindergarten, which is a ideal place to leave them for a few hours of playing and lots of fun.
Après ski
St. Anton is the spiritual home of après, thanks to the infamous and by many beloved Mooserwirt and plenty of other crazy bars. The après ski starts already on the way down of the mountain. To be precise most of the best places are situated along the lower slopes towards the bottom.
At Mooserwirt you will be served by Austrian men in lederhosen, who happily maneuver through the crowd with large trays of draft beer, flügl and flying hirsh to the sound of DJ Ötzi and Anton aus Tirol. If you have not already slipped past Mooserwirt, this is guaranteed to be a must-try for all après-ski lovers.
St. Anton is the home of some of the wildest parties in the Alps. But do not worry, there is a wide range of bars which meets the needs of all. Whether you prefer live music in cozy surroundings or dancing on the tables in ski boots there is a place for you.
